Maria fue precedida en muerte por su esposo, Guillermo Mendoza; su hijo, Guillermo M. Mendoza (Zoila); su hijo, Antonio Mendoza (Gloria); y su hijo, Mario Mendoza.
La sobrevive su amada familia, que incluye a cuatro hijas: Maria Guadalupe Sandoval (Marthel), Irma Gloria Felan (James), Margarita Garcia (Jesus A.), y Leticia Roche (J. Antonio); tres hijos: Jose L. Mendoza (Esmeralda), Enrique Mendoza (Francisca), y Gerardo Mendoza (Lilliana); y sus nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos.
La velacion se llevará a cabo el viernes 31 de octubre de 2025, de 9:00 am a 11:00 am, en la Funeraria Morales, Houston, Texas. Le seguirá una misa funebre a las 11:30 am en St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Seguida por el sepelio que se realizará en el cementerio Forest Lawn.
