Maria Juarez

Maria Juarez de López, age 80 of Highland Park passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Highland Park Hospital. She was born April 17, 1945 in Santa Anamaya, Michoacán, Mexico to the union of Valente and Francisca (Herrera) López. On November 8, 1962 she married Uriel Juarez Ochoa. The couple returned to Highland Park where they raised their family. She loved nature and enjoyed cooking which was made with lots of love. But most precious to her was her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.

Visitation Wednesay, December 31, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral mass 10:00 A.M. at Christ Our Hope Parish, Immaculate Conception Campus, 770 Deerfield Road, Highland Park. Rev. Hernan Cuevas, celebrating. A private entombment will be at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois following the mass.
