Maria Trinidad Juarez, age 51, passed away on January 31, 2026, at her home in San Antonio, TX.
She grew up in a beautiful small village in Mexico that was known locally as San Diego.
Maria was an entrepreneur early in her adulthood, a homemaker after her children were born, a part-time “chauffeur” for friends, and arguably one of the best cooks in the city.
She always made sure her loved ones were fed and well taken care of. When she met strangers in need along the way, she made sure to help in some way or another. Those who knew Maria knew her for her humor, her courage, her determination, and her kindness.
In addition to being witty with words, she was also smart and creative. She studied as much as she was able while in school. At home, she never left her mom’s side while dinner was in the works. As someone with little means, she found clever ways to make up for the resources she was missing.
Maria never forgot where she came from. Her roots came through her food, her knowledge of flora and fauna, and her ingenuity. Most notably, her heritage shone through her love for the community, and her efforts never faltered up until her last breath.
She is survived by her husband, Marco Juarez, and her four children, Victoria, Fernanda, Adriana, and MarcoAntonio.
She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
