Maria Lopez De Rodriguez, age 66, of Storm Lake, Iowa died November 13, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial is in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the CHURCH. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Maria was born March 28, 1959 to Miguel and Antonia (Rodriguez) Lopez in La Isla, Jalisco, Mexico.
On January 1, 1978, Maria was united in marriage to Juan M. Rodriguez Garcia in Santa Rita, Jalisco, Mexico. They were blessed with seven children: Juana, Maria, Maria Guadalupe, Maria Dolores, Maria Rosario, Carla, and Andrea.
Maria was an excellent cook and found joy in sharing her food with friends and family. She looked forward to trips to visit her family in Mexico. Maria will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

El 1 de enero de 1978, contrajo matrimonio con Juan M. Rodríguez García en Santa Rita, Jalisco, México. Juntos tuvieron siete hijos: Juana, María, María Guadalupe, María Dolores, María Rosario, Carla y Andrea.
María era una excelente cocinera y disfrutaba compartiendo sus platillos con amigos y familiares. Anhelaba viajar para visitar a su familia en México. Todos quienes la conocieron y amaron la extrañarán profundamente.
