Maria Elena Lozano, a beacon of unwavering faith and boundless love, was called to her heavenly home on November 11, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 19, 1956, in the peaceful town of Coyame, Mexico, to the late Francisco Salazar and Francisca Garcia. Maria's journey through life was a testament to the virtues of wisdom, selflessness, and love. She departed from this world in
Odessa, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
In her earthly life, Maria was the beloved wife of the late Joe Anthony Lozano. She was a guiding star to her children, Rosa Flores and husband Antonio, Elizabeth Dominguez and husband Ruben, and Hector, Mónica, and Jane Ontiveros and spouse Jose Jaramillo; sister Belia Mendoza and husband Pedro. Maria's warmth extended to her grandchildren-Andrea, Antonio Jr., Brittany Miller and husband David, Abel, Aaron Natividad-Ontiveros, Alysa, Lya, Robert, David, Gabriella, Reina, Ailani, Aaliyah, and Adan-and to her great-grandchildren, Aryella and Natalie Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco Salazar and Francisca Garcia. Her husband Joe Anthony Lozano. Also her two brothers Francisco and Pablo.
Maria's professional life was dedicated to serving others as a Provider for the Elderly, a role that allowed her to extend her maternal compassion to those in need. Her life as a housewife was marked by the joy she found in simple pleasures and the comfort she provided to her family.
Her interests were a reflection of her nurturing spirit, as she found solace in planting flowers and joy in the companionship of her beloved dogs.
Those who knew Maria would describe her as a woman whose advice was sought after for its depth and clarity. She was selfless, always placing the needs of others before her own, and her loving nature made her a source of comfort and strength to everyone around her.
In the spirit of Maria's inspirational life, let us recall the words of Mother Teresa, "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier."
As we celebrate Maria Elena Lozano's life, we are reminded that her light continues to shine in the lives of those she touched. Her spirit, a gentle whisper in the wind, encourages us to live with purpose, to love without reservation, and to serve with all our hearts.
