Nació el 11 de Noviembre 1941 en La Peña Colorada, Jalisco hija de Placido Cuevas e Isidra Alcantar. Casada con Ramiro Alvarez Loza.
Disfrutaba mucho al estar con su familia compartiendo buenas memorias y buenos momentos. Pasaba su tiempo con las personas que ella más quería que era su familia y especialmente esperaba los tiempos festivos para convivir y celebrar. Su tiempo, también, era compartido en la iglesia católica cada domingo con sus hijas y esperaba que llegara los domingos para que todos se juntaran en su casa para seguir conviviendo con los que más quería que era su único deseo en la vida.
Sobrevive por Fransisco Javier, Antonio, Jorge Ramiro, Juan Jose, Maria de los Ángeles, Gloria Veronica, Irma Delia y Luis Manuel Alvarez.
El dia Miercoles, 22 de Octubre, se llevara a cabo la Misa de cuerpo presente en la Iglesia de St. Thérèse the Little Flower Catholic Church, 1601 Oakley Avenue en Burley, a las 11 a.m. El rosario comenzará a las 10:15 a.m. Posteriormente se llevará a cabo el sepelio en el Cementerio - Gem Memorial Gardens - en Burley.
