Maria C. Martinez was born in Asherton, Tx on April 9, 1936 to Ramon Sanchez and Ernestina Lerma Sanchez. She peacefully fell asleep in Death on Wed. January 24, 2024. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Ernestina Lerma Sanchez; and her adopted brother Gregorio Lerma. Also, by her husband, Raul R. Martinez; her son, Raul Maartinez, Jr., her daughter Diana S. Martinez, and grandson, Eric Callahan
She is survived by her sons and daughters, Jesse Martinez and wife Alice; Maria Callahan & husband Phillip, Lydia Leija and husband Tony; Laura Martinez; Carlos and Richard Martinez. Grandchildren; Stephanie and Jason Callahan, Stacy Rule, Brandon and Christopher Holguin; Johnny Martinez and Briana Leija. Also, many beloved great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
