Maria Guadalupe Molinar

Maria Guadalupe Rios Molinar, 66, entered into eternal rest in the early hours of November 22, 2025, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fresno, CA. Born on March 26, 1959, in Roswell, NM, Maria was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering kindness, and deep, devout Catholic faith. Despite the many hardships she faced in life, she carried a joyful heart and a generous spirit that touched everyone around her.

Maria was a devoted mother, a loving aunt, and a truly special woman whose compassion and warmth were felt by all who knew her. She dedicated 18 years of service to Madera County Behavioral Health as a Program Assistant and worked seasonally with the IRS for over 15 years. Wherever she went, her presence brought comfort, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.

She is survived by her two sons, Ramon and Miguel Molinar, who were the pride and joy of her life, and her loving sisters and brother Dora, Alice and Manuel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eva Rascon and Jose Rios, and her siblings Gustavo, Joe, and Jaime Rios.

Maria's light, love, and example will be deeply missed, but the legacy of her faith and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 2:00–6:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
