Maria Magdalena Ramirez de Castro was born December 7, 1956 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to parents, Pedro Ramirez and Maria Lourdes Castro. She moved to Breckenridge and in 1979, she married Jose Vasquez Monroy. She made many friends through the many jobs she had. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Amy Monroy; and one granddaughter, Audree Monroy.
Maria is survived by her two sons, Luis Ramirez and wife Laura, Andy Monroy, all of Breckenridge; grandchildren, Alexis, Luis, Anthony and Mateo Ramirez; great grandchildren, Penelope, Connor, Emery and Keelan Ramirez, Creek and Knox Russell, Greyson and Cooper Ramirez; siblings, Antonia Duran, Esperansa Arriola, Josefina Ramirez, Yolanda Ramirez, Veronica Ramirez, Enriqueta Castro, Pedro Ramirez, Gabriela Perez, Reina Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
