María de Jesús Ortiz Hernández falleció pacíficamente a su eterno descanso el domingo 21 de julio de 2024, a la edad de ochenta y cinco años. María nació en México el 29 de julio de 1938, hija de sus amorosos padres, Evaristo Ortiz† y María Guadalupe Hernández†.
A María de Jesús Ortiz Hernández le preceden en la muerte sus amados padres, Evaristo Ortiz† y María Guadalupe Hernández†. A María también le precede en la muerte su hermana, Francisca Luna†.
María de Jesús Ortiz Hernández fue una amorosa hija, madre, abuela, bisabuela y amiga. Será profundamente recordada por la felicidad y el amor que transmitió a los demás y deja grandes recuerdos con su familia y amigos.
Quedan para atesorar su memoria sus cinco amados hijos: María Elijía Sánchez, José (Petra) Ortiz, Leticia (Nathan) Juárez, Laura (Gustavo) Núñez y Guadalupe (Jesús) Reyes. También deja 17 nietos, así como bisnietos, familiares y amigos.
El velorio público en su honor se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Treviño-Old Port Isabel Rd. de Brownsville, Texas el viernes 26 de julio de 2024, de 2:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en la Capilla Norte de la Funeraria Treviño. Un servicio de oración tendrá lugar el viernes 26 de julio de 2024 a las 7 p.m. Las visitas continuarán el sábado 27 de julio de 2024, de 8:15 a.m. a 10 a.m. con un Servicio de Capilla a las 10 a.m. El rito de compromiso seguirá en Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens a las 11 a.m.
