SAN JUAN- Maria Luisa Pena, 86, went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026. Miss Pena was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel Aparicio, and Maria De La Luz Moreno; two siblings, Vicente Aparicio and Juan Aparicio; one grandchild, Joshua.
Miss Pena is survived by her eight children,; Maria Luisa Peña, Noe Peña, Julio (Melisa) Cesar Peña, Luis (Maria Luisa) Alberto Peña, Luz Elena (Carlos) Lara, Miguel (Olga) Peña, Magdalena (Pedro) Peña, Osiel Peña; twenty five grandchildren,Diana, Ivan, Norma, Julio Jr., Noemi, Lupita, Daniela, Atalia, Annette, Miguel Jr., Christopher, Luis Cesar, Brittany, Keven, Ingrid, Genesis, Brianna, Tabata, Bryan, Bethany, Jonathan, Noe Jr., Hannah, Waldo, Josue, Patricia; four great grandchildren, Michelle, Karla, Arlette, Emmitt, and Mauricio Jr.; one great grandchild, Elliott and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
