Maria "Virginia" Quintana age 83 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday January 31, 2024.
The viewing will be held at Steed Todd Funeral Home on Sunday February 4th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Rosary will be held on Monday, February 5th, at 11:00am followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Sotero Sena officiating.
Pallbearers include; Shane Boyd, Alfonso Sandoval, Ernie Lucero, Logan Boyd, Vincenzo Gasbarro, and Nicolo Gasbarro.
Virginia was born July 2, 1940 to Secundino and Carmellita Marquez Sandoval in La Loma, New Mexico. She married Manuel Quintana in 1978 in Clovis, New Mexico. Virginia enjoyed puzzles, playing bingo and talking on the phone to friends and family.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Sandoval of Clovis. Two daughters Lisa (Shayne) Boyd of Lubbock and Joann (Bruno) Gasbarro of Lubbock; three grandsons, Vincenzo Gasbarro of Lubbock, Nicolo (Perla) Gasbarro of Dallas, Logan (Patti) Boyd of Lubbock; two granddaughters Danielle (Courtnet) Reimer and Taylor Boyd of Lubbock; two sisters; Rita Romero of Albuquerque, Lori Sandoval of Clovis and one brother Manuel Sandoval of Albuquerque.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; Secundino Sandoval (1982), Carmellita Marquez Sandoval (2006), a son Ronnie Sandoval (1961), three sisters; Carmen Rael (2016), Trinidad "Trinnie" Lucero (2013), and Pauline Nino (2013).
A special thank you to Clovis Community Homecare; Sarah Ortiz, Dora Acosta and the many outstanding care givers that assisted her at her home .
Another thanks to all of her trustworthy and loyal friends that were with her for the duration of her life.
