Ramirez, Maria De Lourdes (Née Otero) Born to Eternal Life on January 11, 2026, age 59. Maria was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 25, 1966 to the late David Otero and Norma Reyes. She was united in marriage to her best friend Julio Ramirez on September 29, 1985 in Puerto Rico. They moved to Milwaukee in February 1986, where they built a life together filled with love, family and lasting memories.
Maria had a deep love for dancing and never met a dance floor that didn't bring her to her feet - music brought her to life. Everywhere Maria went she brought laughter, movement, and her vibrant spirit were unforgettable. Maria loved deeply, and taught those around her to embrace life with joy. She was the matriarch of the family whom she loved with every ounce in her being. There was no greater joy to her than spending time with her husband, kids, grandkids and her beloved dog Mostro. Maria's faith in God was unwavering.
Maria spent her entire career working with children and mentoring them. She found happiness in being able to make an impact on the lives of the children she mentored.
Maria will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted husband, Julio Ramirez; her mother Norma Reyes; her sister Maria Ivette Otero; her loving children, Alicia (Ken) Ramirez, Julio (Elizabeth) Ramirez and Eduardo (Ashley) Ramirez; her seven beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Josiah, Jahaziel, Lehilani, Kataleah, Eduardo and Analise.
She was preceded in death by her brother David Otero, her father David Otero, and nephew Edgar Ramirez.
