Maria Thereza "Marizel" Rayala Robinson was a loving mother and wife who will be remembered for her bright smile and her giving, forgiving personality.

Born on October 21, 1962, in Manila, Philippines, she passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 62.

She graduated from Notre Dame of Parang Maguindanao and worked in her father's law office before moving to the United States. In Los Angeles, she became an original member of the 12:30 choir at St. Kevin Parish, where her voice and presence left a lasting impression.

Mariziel was a woman of generosity, hospitality, and dedication. She worked hard to make sure her family had meals daily and gave of herself freely to anyone in need. Her giving spirit and warmth made every home she entered feel like family.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Lorenzo Robinson, and her three beloved children: Joseph Arthur Robinson, Jomar Rudy Robinson, and Jasmin Joi Robinson. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren-Saraia Serenity Perez, Joy Nicole Parker, Kyrie Devon Parker, and Jordan Treyvon Parker-who will always cherish the love she gave them.

Mariziel is also survived by her devoted siblings: Rogelio Joar Rayala II, Maria Zayda Rayala Reola, Rogelio Auremian Rayala III, Roger Y. Rayala IV, and Maria Angela Myleniza Rayala. She was one of six children of Ma. Crisilda "Ida" Yapchapco, and Rogelio I. Rayala I. She carried her family's strength and values into everything she did.

Mariziel's legacy will be her integrity, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be missed deeply but remembered always.

A gathering will be held at Golden Corral at Covina at 12:30 PM following the services.
