I just heard the sad news about Maria. I was her fifth grade teacher and she was a wonderful student and a lovely person. She was always happy and smiling and had the best sense of humor. She will be missed.

I worked with Maria for a little while at Finnigan´s Wake and she always had on a smile. I would come to the host stand when I would be bored and laugh and talk with her and she always made the work shift go by faster. Coming into the door and seeing Maria hosting would be like a breath of fresh air. Her energy was always so relieving to be around and she will truly be missed.
