Maria Silva Obituary
Maria moved to Petaluma, California, in 1966, where she worked many jobs. They later moved to Napa, where she worked at Sawyers and cleaned homes. In 1987, the family relocated to Orland, California, where Maria worked in the cafeteria at Capay School for many years before retiring. She lived in Orland for over 30 years before moving back to Napa in 2018.
Maria devoted her life to her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her children, Joe Silva of Napa; Eric Silva of Orland; and Gabriel (Carol) Silva of Orland.
Her grandchildren are Cameron Silva of Napa; McKenzie (Garrett) Hall of Kuna, Idaho; Brittany Silva; Michelle Silva; Cecelia (Roger) Silva-Montalvo of Orland; Rachel Silva of San Diego; Sophia Silva; and Ryan Silva of Orland.
Her great-grandchildren are Carter (Kaitlyn) Littrell of Notasulga, Alabama; Alyssa and Leilani Williams of Napa; Alaina and Ava Hall of Kuna, Idaho; Rosie; Angie Rosales; Ava Lomeli and Andres Gamboa of Orland, California.
Her great-great-grandchildren are Colt and Cayden Littrell of Notasulga, Alabama.
She is also survived by her sisters, Laudelina and Angelina of Napa; her sister-in-law, Esther of Orland; nephews Mike (Colleen), George, Isaac (Bridget), Jeremiah, and Joseph (Amber); and many great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Silva; her daughter-in-law, Jill Silva; her brother, Manuel Simas; and her parents, Jose and Geraldina Simas.
Maria's gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever cherished. The family would like to thank the Napa-Solano Hospice nurses for the compassionate care they provided.
