Marian Mae Becker, 93, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on May 6, 2022, at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital.
Marian M. Weber was born on October 28, 1928 in Caroline, WI, to Adolf Weber & Otillie (Maleug) Mickelson. She graduated from Marion High School. She was united in marriage to Donald Schroeder. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1970. In 1972, Marian married Upton Becker. He later preceded her in death.
Over the years, she worked for many stores in retail management, but her greatest professional joy was being given the responsibility to manage Women's Apparel at Three Sisters and Sears stores. At her retirement, her boss paid her the highest complement in saying "losing her was like losing Babe Ruth".
Marian was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed bowling, watching the Brewers and Packers, attending card club, and writing poems and cards to family and friends. Above all, she cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Dr. Tom (Priscilla) Schroeder of Louisville, KY, Cheryl Winter of Sheboygan Falls, Dr. Tim (Debbie) Schroeder of Kohler, Steve (Julie Lyons) of Sausalito, CA; ten grandchildren, Scott (Kathy) Winter, Daniel (Melissa) Winter, Jeffrey (Lisa) Winter, Amy (Andy) Buffington, Michael (Amy) Schroeder, Kelly (Jon) Cole, John Schroeder, Maggie (Scott) Soeder, Susan Schroeder; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Martin) Nesh of NJ.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husband, Donald Schroeder and Upton Becker and her son-in-law, Dale Winter.
A funeral service to honor Marian's life will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, May 13th, at 10:30 am with Rev. Kyle Backhaus officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:30 until the time or service. She will be laid to rest by her first husband at Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan.
Memorial donations can be made in her honor to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
