Marian Collier

Marian Collier, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and loyal friend, peacefully passed away on her 61st birthday, November 19, 2025, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Newport News, VA, on November 19, 1964, Marian lived a life filled with joy, love, and immense dedication to those she cared for.

With a career as a secretary for the NC Department of Transportation, Marian was known for her unwavering work ethic and attention to detail. Her role served as a testament to her commitment to excellence and her ability to support and uplift those around her.

Marian's true passion, however, was found in the warmth of her kitchen, where she expressed love through her cooking and baking. Her culinary creations brought family and friends together, forging memories that will be cherished forever. She often ventured into baking, finding joy in discovering new recipes and sharing her delicious creations.

A lover of the ocean, Marian found peace and happiness in visiting various beaches, with each wave whispering stories of freedom and serenity. Shopping trips were adventures in their own right, often accompanied by laughter and the company of loved ones.

Marian's heart belonged to her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her greatest joys. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting presence of her beloved animals, who were considered part of the family.

Preceded in death by her father, Julian, Marian leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark; loving son, Kevin, and his wife, Karen; five cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her nurturing mother, Pauline Ammons; and her dear sisters, DeDe and Paula.

The family will honor Marian's life with a service on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1pm at Livingston Baptist Church, 4629 Livingston Chapel Road, Delco, NC 28436, where they will celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.

In the hearts of those she leaves behind, Marian Collier's spirit will continue to inspire and guide, reminding us all of the strength found in love and the beauty of living life to its fullest.
