Marian P. (Daniel) Owens Ingram Shultz, age 86, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Thursday May 18, 2023, at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.
She was born September 17, 1936, to the late W. Elvis Daniel and Arline McCulloch Daniel in Searcy. Marian is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Daniel, and sister, Emma Grace Daniel.
Marian served in the Arkansas State Legislature from 1993-1998 where she introduced and supported numerous bills that supported her constituents in Bradley County Arkansas.
Marian enjoyed corresponding with her friends, growing flowers, and drinking coffee on her deck.
Marian is survived by her husband, John Shultz Jr.; three children, Cynthia, Daniel, and William Owens; and two grandchildren, Maddie Owens, and Caroline Owens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 25th at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. DeWitt Henry Drive, Beebe, AR 72012.
Funeral Services will be at 3 PM, May 26th at Stoney Point United Methodist Church, 738 Swinging Bridge Rd, Beebe, AR 72012. Burial to follow at Stoney Point Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marian’s name to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
