Robert J. Brown Jr.

Robert J. Brown, Jr, 73, of Evansville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, surrounded by family. Bob was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late Robert J, Sr. and Shirley (Exline) Brown. He worked as an electronics engineer retiring from Western Digital. Bob's work took him and his family across the globe. They had lived in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia among other places. He was an avid golfer. Bob's family meant the world to him, and he created a wonderful life for them. Surviving Bob are his wife of 53 years, Laverne (Nash) Brown; a daughter and son-in-law, Becky Brown and Michael Rivas; son, Jerome Brown; sisters, Karen (Rusty) Rau and Sandy Stevens; brothers, Richard (Ruth) Brown and Russell (Jenny) Brown and four grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriel Rivas and Brody and Miles Brown. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy King. According to Bob's wishes there will be no public funeral services at this time.
