MARIAN J. HULL, age 97, of College Station, TX, formerly of Thorp, WI, passed away at The Waterford Assisted Living in College Station on Monday, May 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. Rev. Stanislaus Michael Antony will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the church, on Saturday, from 10:00am until time of service.

Marian Josephine Haas was born on June 20, 1925 in Thorp, WI, the daughter of Joseph A. and Anna F. (Banderob) Haas. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at St. Bernard Parochial School, and graduated from Thorp High School in 1943. Marian was united in marriage to Edward N. Hull on March 5, 1946 in Neillsville, WI.

She was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

Marian had many interests, but especially loved spending time with family and friends, giving lots of hugs, and playing games.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Joyce During of Cortland, NY, Jackie (Jon) Nance of College Station, TX, and Jeffrey Hull of Lomita, CA; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law: Sheila Hull of East Peoria, IL; one brother: James (Tommye) Haas of Burlington, WI; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ed on April 2, 2021; one son, James; two brothers: Dean and Melburn Haas; and six sisters: Vilus Hanson, Joyce Haas, Alice Haas, Ruth Dupe, Pat Koltis and Ethel Gessner.

Mirian was a wonderful friend and a true gift from the Lord. Her stories about her big family were entertaining. "It is no secret what God can do", she will be missed.
