RIP May your heart fill with happiness now, as you received your angel wings. You will be missed, yet never be forgotten .She appeared in an episode of Murphy Brown as title character’s eccentric Aunt Brooke, 2000 Duets Marian Seledes aka Harriet Gahayan and I have the Movie of Duets.

Coping with the death of our loved ones is not an easy task. No doubt the interchange of love between you and your loved one has resulted in beautiful memories that can be reflected upon daily. May you draw comfort by reflecting on those memories. And know that God is near all those broken at heart. Isaiah 57:15

It is refreshing to know that God's word speaks of a time when all sorrows will be gone and that mankind will live in beautiful surroundings having nothing to fear no pain or sorrow Isaiah 65:17, 21-24.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends all over the world. A beautiful soul whom is now a beautiful angel.

Marian was a unique and wonder person, in addition to being a great actress. We spent several visits with her and Garson in Martha's Vineyard and those memories are dear to me. Randall Hyde

Marian was dear to me and my Grandfather, Himan Brown. She was tremendously supportive of us both when he was ill and during his decline and of me after he passed. I will always remember her kindness and how much Hi adored and loved her. She was one of a kind; a huge talent with a heart just as big. Godspeed, Marian.

My condolences to Ms. Seldes' friends and family. I enjoyed her performances. I just learned that her godmother was Esther Murphy Strachey Arthur (1897-1962), the second wife of Gavin Arthur, per Esther's bio "All We Know: Three Lives" by Lisa Coffman. I'm currently writing Gavin's bio.

Dear Seldes family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Marian many times over the years in NYC. Her gentle kind nature made an impact on me. Not to mention her talent ! I am saddened to learn of her passing. I will always remember Marian's smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to Marian's family, friends and fans.
