Marianna C. Avanzini, aged 92 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 7th, 2026, at Revelation ALF in Miami Lakes, Florida. She was born on November 29, 1933, in Bucchieri, Sicily (Italy), to Giuseppe and Graziella Costantino.
Marianna survived the horrors of World War II as a child, later in life at the age of 33 she migrated with her family to the United States and settled in Florida where she lived till her death. Marianna worked most of her life as a seamstress for Bodin Apparel’s a large clothing manufacturer.
She loved to be surrounded by family, she loved to dance, smile and laugh. She was also a wonderful cook that would rival any Gourmet chef. She was known for her kindness and would not hesitate to help anyone in need. She was a devout Christian and worked as a cook for San Pedro Center in Orlando.
She will be forever in our hearts, gone but not forgotten, and a life well-lived.
Marianna is survived by her younger brother John, her two sons Vincenzo and Giuseppe, her grandchildren Franco, Janice and Monica, and four great grandchildren, Tiffany, Daniella, Natalie and Valentina. May she forever rest in peace she is now in Gods loving hands. A visitation will be held at Newcomers funeral home in Orlando, this Friday, February 13th at 12 noon. She will be entombed next to her husband Franco at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando shortly after the service.
