Marianne Argiros

Marianne was born August 5th, 1953, daughter of Bernard and Marian Hayes. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Stephen Hayes of Essex, VT. Survivors include her husband Fred of Winooski, Vt, son Peter Argiros and his wife Mariah and daughter Brooke of Essex, VT. Stephen Hayes's wife Deanne of Essex, VT, their daughter Christine Brassard of Williston, Vt and her 3 children Dan, Jenna, and Jacob. Their Son Michael Hayes, wife Jayne and daughter Gabriella of Colchester, VT. Her brother Patrick Hayes and his wife Meg of Fort Myers, FL/Alburg, VT. Her sister Ellen Hayes and her husband Dale Pontius of Colchester, VT. Their children Griffen Hayes Pontius of Colchester, VT. Their daughter Erin Hayes Pontius and George Maynard of Barnstable, MA and their children Beatrice and Francis.
For most of her adult life Marianne worked in the medical field, predominantly at the University Health Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend who always brought a smile to all who knew her. Marianne deeply appreciated the exemplary care she received at the oncology department at UHC and the staff at Hospice Care. A memorial service will be held at Williston Federated Church on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 12 o'clock.
