Marianne Lang Obituary

She was born on February 2nd, 1944, in Orange, New Jersey, to the late Anthony and Mary Rose (DeBenedetto) DeCicco. Marianne was the wife of the late Thomas G. Lang who passed away on July 1st, 2009. A dedicated secretary at Kessler Institute in West Orange, NJ., Marianne found joy in helping others and building friendships throughout her career. She had a passion for playing mah-jongg and being outside in her garden watching the birds flying in the sky. She loved spending time with her friends in the Red Hat Society.
Marianne is survived by her three children: Ken Holland, Robert Holland, Mary Hayes; Stepson William Lang; Three grandchildren: Trevor, Kristen, Caileigh; Sisters: Linda Fyffe (Barney), Nancy DeCicco, Kathryn Schmidt; Brother Tony DeCicco (Tina).
Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 5th, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ 07825. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11AM, Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 7 Eisenhower Road, Blairstown, NJ 07825.
In lieu of flowers, Marianne's wish is that donations be sent in her name to Karen Ann Quinlan Center of Hope Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860.
Services are entrusted to Newbaker Funeral Home, Blairstown, NJ.
