Marianne H. Miller

Marianne Helen (Panozzo) Miller, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023 at home in Libertyville, IL. She was born on January 27, 1942 to Leslie and Clorinda Panozzo, in Chicago, IL and lived in the Roseland Pullman area of Chicago attending St. Anthony Catholic elementary school, St. Willibrord High School and Fox Business College (executive secretarial degree). On June 22, 1968 she married Robert "Bob" Miller, her husband of 49 years where they both resided in Green Oaks/Libertyville for many years.
Marianne cherished her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was active with St. Joseph Catholic Church: 20 years Eucharistic minister at church, Winchester House and Condell Hospital. Other volunteer work included The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and Mother's with Young Children. She loved the weekly meetings with her ladies from St. Joe's Bible study and her Liberty restaurant group. She will be remembered as a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, nonna and loyal friend. Her fun-loving personality and laughter could light up a room and she easily made friends wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Marianne is survived by her two cherished children: Michele, Jeff (Michelle); her adored grandchildren, Cole and Austin Miller, brother Les (Rena) Panozzo, sister-in-laws Janice (Ron) Wapinski and Lee Anne Miller; her best friend Bonnie Petrow and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Robert "Bob" Miller, her father Leslie Panozzo, mother Clorinda Panozzo nee: Bonaguro, her step-father Henry Jurgensen, and her brother-in-law, Richard Miller.
Visitation will begin at 9:15 a.m. followed by mass at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.
Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated at St. Joseph Church (St. Joseph Catholic Church - Libertyville, IL (https://stjoseph-libertyville.org/), Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters (https://ssps-usa.org/) or Mercy Home for Boys & Girls (https://www.mercyhome.org/).
