Maribeth Rose Tarnalicki, 69, of Shavertown, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.
Maribeth was born June 30, 1956, daughter of the late Charles and Barbara Taylor. She was employed by the J.H. Williams and Co., LLC Accounting Firm in Kingston for over 30 years before retiring in 2022.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, hosting holiday gatherings, supporting her grandchildren's sports teams, and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, in and out of the country, to sunnier and sandier destinations. Maribeth was known for her kindness, generosity, and making everyone feel welcome on all occasions.
Maribeth was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Barbara (Krogel) Taylor.
Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Joseph Tarnalicki, Shavertown; daughters, Stacey Kehler, Dallas; Mandy VanValkenburgh and her husband, Scott, and their children Peyton and Logan, Shavertown; Megan Tarnalicki and her partner Theresa, Wilkes-Barre; her sons, Matthew Kehler and his wife, Jessica, and their children Charlie, Jackson, and Lily, Florida; Joe Tarnalicki and his wife Chrissy, and their children, Della, Myla, and Layla, Sugarloaf. She is also survived by her sister, Jodi Taylor, California; brothers Chuck Taylor and his wife Michele Skippack; Mark Taylor and his wife, Doris, Harding; and Michael Taylor and his partner, Amy, Milton; numerous nieces, nephews, as well as many friends.
A funeral will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Linda McDermott, officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Blue Chip Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Rd., Dallas, PA 18612.
