Marie Bear Obituary
Marie "Rodge" Bear, 72, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Schneidmiller House after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Marie always asked people how they were before they could greet her, all the way through the end of her cancer treatments. You could always find Marie in a room by hearing her laugh which was recognizable above all others. Marie's kindness, inner strength and beaming smile were always present along with her readiness to listen.
Marie is survived by her beloved soulmate and husband of 54 years, Fred, her daughter Michele (Corey), granddaughter Icesis, grandson Brandon, Marie's 2 beloved Himalayan cats, sister Marcie (Bobby), sister in law Tekla, niece Ashley (Kris), brother in law John (Betty), nephew Phillip, nephew Jason, nephew Peter (Matty), 4 great nieces, 1 great-granddaughter and her beloved best friend Sandy. She leaves behind countless friends and neighbors who have been so prevalent in her life before, and during, her battle with cancer. Her passing has truly been a shared experience with everyone who has known and loved her.
A special thank you to the staff at North Idaho Hospice Schneidmiller House for their loving, gracious and incredible care of Marie during her final days. The Hospice staff was an incredible comfort and support to both Marie and her family.
A celebration of Marie's blessed and positive life will be held mid summer 2023.

Rodgers was a very dear friend. Every time we went to Coeur d'Alene to Snyders bread store, there was one cashier who always said "where's your partner in crime?" She was a dear friend and is missed dearly. Love to her family.

Loved this precious lady. Miss her smile and giggly laugh. Coeur d'Alene never could handle the two of us when we'd go shopping. Miss ya kiddo
