Marie Stansell Boehning, 81, of Red Bank, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025.

A devoted member of New Beginnings Baptist Church on Signal Mountain. She loved attending church and joyfully served as an organist and piano player on Sundays. Known for her sweet and mild-mannered spirit, Marie was a woman who loved God, her family, and the simple joys of life. She also found great happiness in sewing, sharing her talents and creativity with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Boehning; son, Lee Boehning; parents, Emmett and Bernice Stansell; brother, Ed Stansell; and sister, Linda Baugh.

Survivors include her children: Becky Martinez (Tony), Dianne Jackson, Jeanette Rogers (Mike), David Boehning (Heather), and Deborah Cunningham (David); grandchildren: Daniel, Derrick, Kennedy, Amanda, Jacob, Brandon, Trevor, and Leland; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Cole, Myla, Koehen, Kamron, Carter, Claire, and Cameron; sister, Debbie Chadwick; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Hembree officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
