Marie Pauline Brumley, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025 with her granddaughter Destany (Or “Alexis” as she would call her) by her side. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. She is now joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved children Jessica, Michael, and Jennifer; her dear mother Annie Mary Shipp; her devoted husband Bill Brumley; and her siblings Dale and Jerry.
Marie’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures such as playing bingo, taking trips to the casino, and spending precious time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She also took great pride in her work as a lunch aide at the local 501 Schools, where her caring nature and bright smile made a lasting impact on students and staff alike.
Marie is survived by her son, Billy Bob Brumley; loving siblings Sherian, Jeanine, Linda, Jimmy, Mike, and Gerald; her cherished grandchildren Jeannette, Destany, Troy, Ruben, Anthony, Masyn, Madisyn, Hailey, Dustin, Giovanni, Jessica and Alyssa; and her great-grandchildren Na’Riah, Gina, Melody, Khairo, Khaius, Zennie, and ReneAndre, with one more joining the family in March. Each of them carries forward her spirit of love, humor, resilience and, of course, her stubbornness.
Marie will be remembered for her sense of humor, her generous heart, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to bring comfort and smiles to all who were blessed to know her.
