Marie Ann (Dowd) Cowen

Marie and I were friends in the 1950's, when we both worked for Bank of America. I knew her when she first met Bill and was at her lovely wedding. We lost touch years ago, and I'm sorry not to have been in contact sooner. Deepest sympathy to Bill and all her family and friends.

I had the privilege of being one of William Francis III's college roommate's and was able to crash several Cowen family vacations. Whether it be in the Poconos, Kiawah Island or in her own home, Marie always welcomed me with open arms and treated me as one of the family. She was quick to help if you were in need(like blowing a car engine in Philadelphia) or to prepare a "Hot Plate" of food. All my love to the entire Cowen family.

We are deeply sadden by the passing of the last sibling of Grandpa and Grandma Dowd. We will miss her and her witty humor! Love you guys. Cousin Kathleen and the southern clan

My sweet Aunt Marie how I will miss you and your loving words my entire life. My memories of all my fun times with you in the summer as a child and a teen. You never ever forgot my birthday or Christina or Carly . In my eyes you were a saint. You did it all, beautiful family and a loving husband. I know you are in peace now.
