Death is the LAST chapter of Time… the FIRST chapter of
Eternity
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there
shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither
shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed
away." Revelation 21:4

Reflection of Life

On August 21, 1961, a beautiful baby girl, Marie Louise Dockery
was born to the late Anderson and Austene Dockery in Magnolia
Regional hospital, Magnolia, AR. She peacefully transitioned this
earthly journey, August 6, 2025 at South Arkansas Regional
Hospital, El Dorado, AR.
Marie joined the First Baptist Church Calhoun Heights in
Magnolia, AR under the leadership of Rev. P. B. Sharp. She was
an active and faithful member, especially known for her beautiful
soprano voice in the choir. Her love for music and worship
touched many hearts. In addition to singing, Marie also served in
the Youth department, where she poured into the lives of young
people with her encouraging spirit and joyful heart. She had a
deep passion for children and a special gift caring for them. Marie
especially loved working with babies, nurturing them with patience
and kindness. Even while in the Nursing Home and confined to
her wheelchair, she continued to watch over and care for children.
Her love and compassion never stopped-she continued to bless
the lives of little ones until her final days.
Marie graduated from Magnolia High School, Magnolia, AR May
1979. She went on to attend Southern Arkansas University, also
in Magnolia, AR. Marie had a deep love for Mathematics and

used her gift to help others, often tutoring her schoolmates and
sharing her knowledge with joy and patience.
Marie enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her joy and
relaxation. She loved reading and watching television-especially
her favorite "Soap Operas"; and she was an avid sports fan, with
a special passion for football. One of her favorite gospel songs
was "I Can't Give Up" by Lee Williams, which reflected her spirit
and faith. Her favorite quote, "God Got Me!" Marie also cherished
spending time with family and friends. She had a warm and
playful heart, often expressing her love through fellowship and
friendly competitive games like Spades, Dominio's, Uno and
Bingo.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons Tehran (Shameica)
Hardimon Popular Bluff, MO; Justin Gabriel Dockery, Houston TX
two siblings, Roy Green Phoenix, AZ & Elena Dockery Magnolia,
AR
two grandsons Dominique and Joseph Hardimon; one
granddaughter Za'Rayla Linnette Dockery and one great
granddaughter Letti Hardimon.
