Marie Doubrava, a long-time Bozeman resident, died unexpectedly June 20, 2025.
Marie was born in Chicago, IL, to Frank and Milada Slaby. Marie, at an early age, loved fishing with her father, Frank, in the many lakes of northern Wisconsin. It was also during this time that Marie developed a love for hockey and followed her beloved Chicago Blackhawks throughout her life.
Upon high school graduation, Marie attended business college in St. Augustine, FL, and held various corporate positions for companies throughout Florida, Georgia, and Montana. Outside of work, Marie loved to travel, especially through Europe, her favorite destination being Prague, Czechoslovakia.
