Marie Evans Obituary
She was born on December 7, 1936 on Tangier Island to Merrell and Alma Crockett. She moved to Fairport after her marriage to Bobby Evans and resided there until her death.
Marie is survived by her son Robert Merrell Evans; her sister Darlene Laird; her grandson Kyle Evans(Jen); her great grandchildren Gavin, Hannah, and Harper Evans; her step granddaughter Vickie Evans and her husband Glenn and children Daric, Julie, and Justin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby, and son Vernon Evans.
A funeral service will be held at Tibitha Church of God on Tuesday, February 10 with interment at Roseland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gavin Evans, Daric Evans, Nick Laird, Spencer Headley, Scott Rogers and Troy Jett.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Tibitha Church of God, P. O. Box 167, Reedville, Virginia 22539.
