Marie B. Frantz, 94, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Brandon, Fla. Born May 16, 1930, in Washington, she was a daughter of Robert and Jennie Burnfield. Marie graduated from Washington High School 1948. Shortly after graduation, in August of 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, John "Jack" Frantz. Marie briefly worked at the Washington Hospital before dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Warren and Jackie Sehres of Florida; grandchildren, Jonyelle and Nick Kreider-Rice, Jennifer Kreider, Joy Frantz of Washington, and Louis Michael McAnany Jr. of Arizona; and her sister, Elaine Warholak of McClellandtown. She also leaves behind Jessie Ullom, who was like a daughter to her; and daughter-in-law, Diane Frantz. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Frantz; and children, Jennifer Frantz, Elaine McAnany, and Matthew Frantz. Marie will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Her warmth and the joy she brought to everyday moments will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
