Marie Adelene Husk

Marie Adelene Husk, 90, of Parkersburg, WV, (formerly of West Union, WV) departed this life on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus. Marie was bon November 14, 1920 at Oxford, WV (Summers Community), a daughter to the late Gene Maxson and Lora H. Nutter Richards. She spent her life as homemaker, was a member of the Smithburg United Methodist Church, and attended the 14th Avenue Gospel Mission Church of Parkersburg. She is survived by her son and daughter in law; Edward E. Husk, Jr. (Betty Ann), Davisville, WV; grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Geibel (Jon), Parkersburg, WV and Jeffery Husk (Carla), Davisville, WV; great grandchildren, Zachariah & Ashleigh Husk and Aislyn & Asher Geibel, along with 2 half sisters and 2 half brothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Edward E. Husk, Sr. and 2 half brothers. Funeral services will be 1pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV with Pastor John Kopshina and Rev. Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow in the South Fork Baptist Cemetery, (Summers Community). Friends may call from 4-8pm on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the funeral home.
