Marie King lived her life with zest and her unique brand of humor. Being the fourth child in a set of eight was the perfect place for her. She loved it!
Early in life Marie began doodling, which blossomed into endless creativity. Yarn and art were her passions second only to her family. Countless individuals, as well as her community, have benefited from her instruction and generosity as she taught and gifted others with her talents. Not only was she clever in her creations, but in her approach to life and her unique ability to sense and meet the needs of others.
It was always a good time when Marie was there. Her quick wit and humor were absolutely infectious. Even those taking care of her towards the end felt the sunshine of her personality. She had a deep conviction of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It guided the way she lived her life.
She is survived by her husband Gary Lee King; their children: Matthew Lee King (Mandi), Desiree Linn Johnson (Paul) and Misty Marie King; and grandchildren Emily, Clara, Grant, Gwen, Gavin, Hadley, Paxton, Sterling and Sarah.
