Marie L. Megna

Marie L. Megna, 98, of Milton, Delaware, formerly of Flanders, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Excelcare of Lewes in Delaware. Born in Newark, NJ on February 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Clericuzio.
Marie first worked as a sales clerk for Valley Fair Enterprises in Irvington, NJ, and then in the food service department at Irvington High School.
She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Flanders and was also a member of the Mount Olive Senior Citizens Club. She also helped out with the Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
Marie is survived by her two sons, Michael and Stephen Megna of Delaware, her four grandchildren and her 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Ruggerio. She was pre-deceased by her husband Steven, her brothers Tommy and Al and her sisters Rose, Lucy, Josie and Eleanore.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm and again from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home 15 Furnace Road Chester, NJ 07930.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Main Street Flanders, NJ. She will be Entombed with her husband at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ following the Funeral Mass.
