Marie Pickens

So sorry to learn of Marie's passing. I have many wonderful memories of Friday "executive director" lunches with her. I still have a picture of her at Niagara Falls when she and Sally came to visit me in Buffalo in the summer of 2004. That was a much needed visit from two dear friends. Know you are in my prayers.

Marie always was enthusiastic with a bunch of rambunctious high school girls who were sure we would rule the world one day. Thank you for my early lessons in management.

Met with Marie many times when she served as Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Hoosier Capital Council, as she helped to initiate our current Alumnae Group, Scout Abouts, in 1997.
