Marie Antionette Walker

Marie Antionette Walker was born in Texarkana on April 22, 1960, to the union of Percy & Vertis B. Walker, sixty-five years ago. She was a member of True Vine Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Andrew & First Lady Latosha Box Smith, where she attended until her demise.
And prior to that, in her childhood age, she joined the Bouldware Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop J. E. Bouldware until his demise.
In her younger years she became a born-again Christian under the leadership of Pastor Charles & First Lady Lullia Jones who became the new leaders at the Bouldware Temple Church of God in Christ but was later named the B. T. Harvest Church of God in Christ.
Marie attended Arkansas Senior High School and maintained straight A's. After graduation, she attended college downtown Texarkana and maintained straight A's.
During the year of 2017, she became ill and was hospitalized at Wadley Regional Medical Center and was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation.
In her later years, she attended Greater Heights Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Dr. Superintendent Donald Vaughn & First Lady Wendi Green Vaughn.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her one & only child, LeBrandi Shantesa Vrenye Walker; three grandsons, John Mark Favors, Joshua Micah Walker, and Jaden Michael Jackson; special niece, Zoey Robinson; sisters, Betty Jo Bishop Sims, Joanne White, Kathryn Ann Wyatt, Joycelyn Latrece Walker, Sherman (Bobby), Tamar MeShae Walker (Charles) Williams, and Juanita Bennett (Bradberry, Ca); and brothers, Morris Lynn Williams and Percy Eugene Williams (both of Texarkana), Don "Nooke" Derrell Walker (Detroit, MI), Bennie James (Shelia) Sullivan (Ashdown, AR), and Roderigo Delmond Ross (Raleigh, NC); and special friends, Nellie Atkins and Cecelia Huff.
