Marie Willis Obituary
Marie Willis, age 86, of Kingsport, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 27, 2026, at her home. She had resided most of her life in Kingsport and had retired from Indian Path Medical Center. Marie was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. She was an avid Tennessee Volunteers sports fan.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Willis; son, Danny Willis; parents, Kyle Mullins and Ruby Jackson; several brothers and sisters; and great-grandson, Gabriel Willis.
She is survived by her sons, David and Sam (Lucy) Willis; grandchildren, Laura Cochrane (Jeff) and Kevin Willis (Esther); great-grandchildren, Olivia, Andrew, Joseph, Bella, Bruce and Xavier; brothers, Jim Lewis (Doris) and Gary Lewis (Robin); and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5pm – 7pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A service will be held at 7pm with Pastor Robert Fletcher officiating. A graveside service will take place at 11am on Friday, March 6, 2026 at East Lawn Memorial Park.
