Marijean Bohlman Obituary
She began serving as a piano teacher and college music faculty member in 1974. Over the years, she filled a variety of roles within the College and Academy music departments, as well as the College music library.
Her dedication to shaping the next generation of musicians was evident through her patient instruction and genuine care for her students. Until her retirement in 2021, she consistently sought opportunities to connect with students personally and cherished the privilege of praying with and for them.
Though she faced ongoing health challenges in recent years, Marijean was known for her gracious spirit and thoughtful care for others. Faculty colleagues valued her insight and encouragement, often stopping by between lessons to seek her advice on helping students succeed and develop a love for learning. Even on physically difficult days, she made time to listen and offer support.
Please join us in praying for Marijean's husband, Phil, a PCC IT team member, and their son, Joseph and his family as they navigate this loss – especially around the holidays. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Mullenix Chapel with a visitation at 10:00 AM.
