Marilyn Joyce Baez

On Aug 24, 2023, Marilyn Joyce (Norman)Baez passed peacefully in her home. Marilyn was born Sept.13, 1942 to William and Helen Norman, she was the fourth of five children and the only girl. She was not a pampered princess, she kept up with her brothers and was just as wild. Marilyn was not afraid to tell you the truth even if it hurt. She'd point her finger at you and say "The good lord is gonna get you" any time we weren't acting right. She believed in God, but cussed like a sailor when she was mad. Marilyn loved and protected her family fiercely and we loved her just as much. She was and is the heart of this family and will be greatly missed. Marilyn was preceded in death by husband Louis Baez Sr., children Tammy and Michael Baez, parents William and Hellen Norman, brothers Dale and Lloyd Norman, son-in law David Hall and many brothers and sister in laws. She is survived by brothers Jack and Ray Norman and wife Theresa, her children Teresa Hall and Louis Baez Jr. and wife Lois Baez, grand children (spouses) Amber, Tara (Craig), Jerry (Brittany), Joel (Ashlee), Katrina (Antonio), Megan (Davd), Christian (Megan), and Mallory. Her great grandchildren, Gage, Ashlyn, Addison, Camden, Savannah, Gwendolyn, Luke, Victoria, Solomon, Julienne, Carma, Graham, Vera, Ethan, Sofia, Avia, Romeo, Vida and Olivia. Great Great grandchildren, Emerson, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A reception will follow graveside services between 2:00pm - 5:00pm at the Del City Community Center located at 4501 SE 15th St, Del City, OK 73115.
In lieu flower donations may be made to the funeral home to take care of the final expences.
