Mom, hope you are enjoying having Callie with you now. We will miss her dearly, but I'm happy she is back with you now. You are still near in our hearts and souls, and with us every day. Love and miss you so very much.

Michelle,
What a warm and touching story. In all her stays at Oakwood there was always someone stopping by to tell a story of her and her nurse's cap!! We are so happy to know she touched so many lives. She was indeed the most wonderful person and mother I've ever known. thank you so much for your memories(especially the part about UoM colors!!To this day we are all avid State fans!)With love, her daughter.

I met Marilyn in the late 70's when I was a new, and very young, manager on 10 South. What originally started as a professional relationship rapidly turned into a friendship that lasted long after she retired. Marilyn was a second 'Mom' to many of the new young nurses that worked with her, including me. I still have the special step stool that she made for my wedding shower, painted in her hated colors of Maize and Blue, along with holiday snowmen sporting her colors of green and white along with mine in maize in blue.
Marilyn was loved by many more people than you are even aware of and our lives have been far richer for sharing time with her. I am so very sorry that I didn't make our much talked about dinner reunion happen when we all could have enjoyed it.
