Marilyn Lea Blisard, 79 of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Seymour.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Masonic Cemetery with Dr. David Warren officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.
Marilyn was born on September 14, 1945 in Post to Jessie Ozell and Margaret Marie Justice Williams. She was a graduate of Post High School and attended Howard Payne Jr. College and Cisco Jr. College. Marilyn married Thomas Lafayette Blisard, Jr. on January 21, 1978 in Bangs, Texas. She worked as a real estate agent for Century 21 and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour. Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbie Jo Blisard.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Blisard of Seymour; 2 sons, Jack and Michelle Blisard of Seymour and David and Kendra Blisard of Lubbock; a brother, Ronnie Williams; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
