Marilyn Breeden

BREEDEN, Marilyn (Fick) (Payne) - age 62, of Linden, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center surrounded by her loving family after a two year battle with kidney cancer. Services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 14, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Marilyn Breeden Memorial Fund. Marilyn was born November 21, 1945 in Lapeer, the daughter of Basil and Dorothy (Tyler) Fick. She resided in the Linden area her entire life. Marilyn was a 1964 graduate of Linden High School. As a young lady she was a member of Rainbows and the Order of Eastern Star in Linden. She worked at the fountain counter of the old Farner's Drug Store in her youth. Left to cherish her memory are: husband, Dennis Breeden; son, Todd Payne; daughter, Traci Payne; two step-children, Denise and Greg; numerous grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Fick; siblings, Brian (Gina) Fick, Gary Fick, Jan Rowe and Karen Maidment; many nieces and nephews.
