She was born on March 12, 1962 in St. Louis, MO to Roland and Joyce (nee: Williams) Rodgers.
Marilyn married Roger Buckingham and he preceded her in death.
The loving sister enjoyed watching television, especially scary movies. She also enjoyed coloring, mainly butterflies and she liked to shop and enjoy food. Marilyn will be missed by everyone including her cats, Tony and Hope.
Marilyn is survived by a brother, Clyde (Janette) Williams of NE; 2 sisters: Virginia (Don) Oliver of Granite City and Renee (Noukone) Phengsavathdy of Granite City; a step daughter, Shannon (Robert) Gulley of Granite City; a step grandson, Nick Gulley of Granite City; other step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Besides her husband and parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Rodgers.
Burial will be at a later date.
