Lynn was born February 12, 1929 in El Dorado, AK and grew up in Glasgow, KY. where the Preston family had been residents since the 1800s. She attended Glasgow schools and was a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
Lynn is the beloved wife of the late Alonzo Church Jr.; devoted mother of Dr. L.W. Preston (Kathryn C.) Church of Portland, Oregon and Alonzo (Heather B.) Church III of Atlanta, Georgia; cherished grandmother of Dr. E. Chandler Church of Portland, Oregon.
She was predeceased by her parents Leonard W. and Marilee L. Preston and sisters Nancy A. (Joseph "Joe") Larkin and Virginia C. (Robert "Bob")
A private graveside service will be held at Markillie Cemetery, Hudson, OH.
