Marilyn Collier Obituary
Mt. Vernon - Marilyn Joyce Collier, 89, of Mt. Vernon, IN, passed away February 3, 2021 at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 22, 1932 in Evansville, IN to the late William and Gladys (Hinnenkamp) Cullman.
Marilyn was a 1950 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She had been an active member of Mt. Vernon Community Church - Black's Chapel. Marilyn was also a member of the Busy Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing and crafting.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Duane Collier.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Collier (Nikki) and Carla Nelson (Peter); grandchildren, Zachary Nelson (Rachael), Weston Nelson, Grace Webber (Alex), Lexi Bulthaup (Bryce), Autumn and Amber Collier; great-grandchildren, Lily Bulthaup, Oliver, Gavin, Julian, Cora and Gideon Nelson.
Private graveside services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Posey County Community Foundation - Women's Fund.
