Marilyn Cook

1935 - 2025

Born in Wendell, Idaho, Marilyn graduated in 1953 from Brewster High, already dating the love of her life, Bob Cook. They married January 23, 1954 and had 3 children. She loved serving her Lord and volunteered through SOWERS, MAPS and UGM. She wrote poetry but loved writing notes to her family. Her sense of humor always entertained. Marilyn is survived by her husband Bob Cook, a brother, Steve Lowry (Merrily), her children Laura Cowart (Stanley), Dave Cook (Nancy) and Kerri Surface (Steve), 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings. A memorial will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to UGM.
